Blog Updates

It’s been far too long since I’ve updated this blog. I fully intended to keep up with it I promise! But new adulthood is composed of a lot of time-consuming things. So here’s to take two.

There will be a few changes in the upcoming months. I’m hoping to sit down and revamp the blog to be more than just TV related. TV, movies, maybe a comic aspect. We’ll see. If anybody has any ideas of what they’d like to see feel free to let me know! But for now, I will be keeping the normal segments going the best I can and work on getting it back up to what it once was.

Finally, after months of going going going I am done! Here’s the checklist:

Finals: check.

Graduation: check.

Vacation: check.

New job: check.

Get this blog up and running again: well…..I’m working on it.

Now that it’s summer and things are steady again, I finally have the time to get back to posting. We’ve got a lot to talk about too, the HIMYM finale (still not cooled down about that one), a few new Marvel movies, Supernatural and Arrow had great season finales. Basically, this spring was a good one when it came to TV. I’m so happy to be back with you guys! Keep and eye out!

 

Break Time

Hey there pretty people.

So if it wasn’t obvious enough, I am taking a small break from the site while I finish up school. At first, I was just reeling from the HIMYM finale and didn’t want to post until I was over that, but in the last few weeks of school I’m going to need to devote my time to studying and projects.

School will be over on May 10th, and I will be taking a family trip until May 16th. So prepare for more posts the following week!

How I Met Your Mother Ends Tomorrow: Theories

How I Met Your Mother has only two episodes left until it’s nine year run comes to an end. As we’re winding down, people the internet is abuzz with theories about how it will end. How will they meet? What’s her name? What will the final episode be like? But one question that doesn’t seem to be as important in many people’s mind is one that  I’ve recently learned is pretty important: Why is Ted telling this story? I had never thought of that. It can’t just be because he wants his kids to know. Forcing them to sit on a couch for ten years is a little much for a random origin story. But it’s this question that we have to keep in mind when thinking about how the story will end, and what I think is the reason he’s telling it.

Now, these theories are purely speculation, and I have in no way heard that any of these are actually fact. But it will be interesting to see if they are, because I think it will end the show with a bang, and give it the strong ending it deserves.

Daniel Sharman the Third Cast Member to Leave Teen Wolf

After the shocking death of Allison, and the death of Aiden in last night’s finale, E! Online reported today that along with his co-stars, Crystal Reed and Max Carver, Daniel Sharman will also not be returning for season 4 of Teen Wolf. In an interview with executive producer, Jeff Davis, E! explains that Sharman was ready to move on, and to try something new.

Luckily for us, Sharman asked producers that Isaac’s character not be killed off. In fact, (spoiler warning here!), after walking out the door together at the end of the finale, the story goes that he and Argent travel to France to get away from the looming memory of Allison’s death. However, in the interview, Davis made it a point to say that Argent will be back for season 4.

We sure are going to miss Isaac. While he wasn’t a main character really, he was one of my favorites.

Tragic Death Strikes in This Week’s Teen Wolf

The promos for MTV’s “Teen Wolf” have been hinting toward a death for a few weeks now, but I don’t think anybody expected it to be one of the main characters. Warning, there are obviously spoilers beyond this point. So if you don’t wanna know who dies I strongly recommend skipping over this post.

Sup TV Lovers!

It has been a while since I last posted, I know. Yikes! Shame on me. To be honest it’s partly due to my hectic, last semester of college, partly due to my laziness. For that, I am sorry–the laziness I mean. I can’t really do anything about my classes. But to those of you who are still tuning in to my random selection of posts, thanks! I appreciate your patience with my horrible blog upkeep. Because the majority of my unexpected break took place during the 2014 Winter Olympics, I didn’t miss too much in the TV world. In fact, there hasn’t been much blog-worthy conversation in general, but now that it’s Spring Break and I have some nice R&R time I can catch up on posting the topics I do want to talk about with you guys. Stay tuned in the next week or so for some topics on these shows:

Psych Announces Its Final Episodes

Following their win on our Tuesday Top Five’ favorite bromances, we got some sad news involving the futures of Shawn Spencer and Burton Guster. The most shocking part about last nights episode of “Psych” wasn’t Gus quitting his job, or the death of the Blueberry, but rather the knowledge of the show’s future fans were forced to watch with.

What is a bromance? We hear the word constantly now a days. It’s thrown around like “chemistry”, and it’s often affiliated with the friendship between two guys. But what is it really? Wikipedia calls it: “a close non-sexual relationship between two men, a form of affectional or homosocial intimacy.” So basically, two guys are so close that their not just friends, they’re on, like, a whole other level. But the lines can be pretty blurred when it comes to the true definition.
